The paper trail

Nothing about your consignment is verbal. Every stage produces a record, and every record carries the same number.

  1. 01 — Booking

    The consignment is booked at the origin office, with consignor, consignee and freight terms recorded before the load moves.

  2. 02 — Lorry receipt

    A numbered LR is issued against the consignment. Your copy, our copy and the driver's copy all carry it.

  3. 03 — Challan

    The trip is dispatched on a challan that lists every lorry receipt loaded onto that vehicle.

  4. 04 — Delivery

    The consignee acknowledges receipt at destination against the same LR number the goods were booked under.

  5. 05 — Invoice

    Billing is raised from those records — paid, to-pay, or consolidated into one monthly invoice.
